Meet The Teachers

David joined TVPS in Term 4 of 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of our community. He is deeply committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging school environment for all students. With a focus on creating positive connections and promoting a culture of inclusivity, David works tirelessly to ensure that every student feels valued and supported. His dedication to enhancing the educational experience allows our community to thrive and grow together, making TVPS a wonderful place for learning and personal development.

I have been at TVPS since 2002 and am one of the lucky people who gets to come to work each day and have fun while learning. I love to use technology and be as creative as possible.
I also love rugby and the ‘All Blacks’.

I love the real sense of community at TVPS. The students, families and staff have incredible relationships that you just don’t get at every school. I have two young children who I adore. I look forward to school holidays and going on our annual family trip to FNQ.

I have been teaching at TVPS since 2001. I really enjoy working with the children and helping them grow and develop. I love to spend time with my family and my two dogs and support the Richmond Football Club.

Hi, I’m Maria.
I am passionate about teaching and love working with children. I enjoy watching them grow and develop a love for learning in my classroom.
In my free time I love to read.

I am passionate about teaching and learning and thoroughly enjoy working alongside our keen and dedicated teachers to continually develop their pedagogy and in turn improve student learning outcomes. Our T.V.P.S. students are highly enthusiastic and motivated to learn which makes every day a rewarding experience!

I love watching student’s develop a growth mindset. Over a year students can achieve so much and become so confident in their own abilities. This brings a big smile to my face.
I love reading, baking and shopping.

I have been at TVPS since 1998. I love coming to school every day. The biggest privilege I have as a teacher is that I get to teach a new group of students with vibrant personalities, experiences, and ideas. I love spending time with my family and barracking for Collingwood.

I love teaching and supporting students, and seeing the spark in their eyes when they finally ‘get it’. I especially enjoy teaching maths and playing games to develop students’ understanding.

In my free time, I love going out with friends, reading and baking sweet treats!

Hi, I’m Penny. I love reading stories with my class and learning about the world we live in.
When I’m not teaching, I like to walk with my puppy and spend time outside with my family.

I love being a teacher as I get to help support students learn, grow and gain new skills. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with my family and friends.

I have had the joy of being at TVPS since 1987. It has been a pleasure to work with such dedicated and caring teachers.
The beautiful families and children make TVPS the wonderful place it is.
When I am not at school I love spending time with my family.

Hi, I’m Julie. I love working with my students and building a cohesive, caring classroom.

It’s wonderful to watch my students embrace their learning, take risks and more importantly, be free to be who they are.

In my free time I love to play my drums and keep fit.

As part of the Year 6 team, I love working with students to develop student voice and agency. When I am not at school I like to spend time with my own family.

I have been at TVPS since 2003 and  have held numerous roles, including LOTE (Italian) teacher, Maths Specialist and classroom teacher.
I really enjoy the challenge of helping each student achieve their maximum potential.
Away from school I like to active, following many sports, particularly AFL and the mighty Blues!

I enjoy working with the wonderful students and community at TVPS. I love making the classroom a fun place and building positive, warm and nurturing relationships with my students. Outside of school I enjoy travelling, spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, roller skating and dancing.

I love teaching Performing Arts at TVPS. Seeing the students thrive as they learn and improve their understanding of the three main elements – Music, Dance and Drama is so rewarding.  
Outside of work, I do music theatre and love to go to the beach!
