SCHOOL TOURS – 2023

Conducted by our Principal, school tours are a wonderful way to see the school in action. Find out more about the philosophy in teaching and learning at Templestowe Valley and view our excellent facilities. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of our school.

We conduct both individual and group tours at Templestowe Valley.  Tours are held on Wednesday’s and can be made by contacting the office on 03 8850 5777.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

We are currently accepting expressions of interest from prospective parents for Prep 2024. This will inform the school of your interest in attending Templestowe Valley Primary School and allow us to keep you updated with any important information.

OPEN DAY AND NIGHT

We invite you to walk through the school to meet staff, students and other parents. come and see the amazing student work and authentic learning experiences that Templestowe Valley has to offer.

• Taste of TVPS: Saturday 25th March 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Open Evening: Wednesday 17th May 6:00pm – 8:00pm

FLYING START PROGRAM

This is, for many, their first opportunity to spend time at school. We invite you to come along with your child and chat with the Principal and other parents while your child experience some of the fantastic learning opportunities Templestowe Valley has to offer.

• Term 2 – Wednesday May 31st 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 2 – Wednesday June 7th 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 2 – Wednesday June 14th 2:30pm – 3:30pm

TRANSITION WITH A DIFFERENCE

The transition from Preschool to Primary School is definitely exciting but for some it can be an overwhelming experience. That is why at Templestowe Valley we give your child the best opportunity to have the smoothest start school.

Our enrolled Prep for 2024 have the opportunity to participate in seven (7) orientation sessions which allow them to making friends, experience school and begin feeling comfortable in what will be their new learning environment.

• Term 3 – Monday 21st August 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 3 – Monday 4th September 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 4 – Friday 20th October 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 4 – Friday 3rd November 2:30pm – 3:30pm
• Term 4 – Friday 17th November 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Term 4 – Friday 1st December 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Term 4 – Tuesday 12th December 9:00am – 12:00pm
